Amsterdam is one of my favourite cities in Europe. Truly! When I received an invitation to stay at Mr and Mrs's Smith's canalside hotel in Amsterdam, I was stoked. It has always been my dream to stay in one of those beautiful 17th and 18th century canal Dutch houses.

Hotel Pulitzer is a stylish boutique hotel, set in a 25 restored century old canalside buildings. There is something really quaint and charming about these old buildings, with slightly wonky windows and doors.

Our cosy room was furnished with plush cushions... The window opens up to a wonderful view of the canal. I could not have asked for more!

It was a pleasure staying at Hotel Pulitzer. We were steps away from Amsterdam's Nine Streets neigbourhood - the Museum District. And so close to Anne Frank House too. Hotel Pulitzer has a beautiful and peaceful garden courtyard, with comfy seats, to relax and read a book, or to have a nice cup of tea.

Beautiful days at Hotel Pulitzer. It's a charming hotel with lots of passageways and staircases to be discovered if it's your very first time here. Photos by Leon Korobacz and May Leong.

You can also take a tour with Hotel Pulitzer. They have one of the most gorgeous salon boats in town and it is wonderful to spend an afternoon, cruising on the canals in Amsterdam.

Hotel Pulitzer's rooms come in all shapes and sizes. Each individually decorated, unique to its own character. Some rooms are cosy, some are furnished with antique ware and original paintings.

We are loving the Dutch breakfast at Hotel Pulitzer. Think of fresh, local sourced produce with the classic pancakes, waffles and omelettes. It was quite a spread we had.

Thank you Hotel Pulitzer for an amazing stay. We hope to return to Amsterdam again!
