Hilton London Bankside Hotel is a bloomin' beautiful hotel. With bronzed metal facade, the lobby design is modern with a touch of class.

Located in the financial district from London's bustling streets, Hilton Bankside is a great place to stay. The modern, industrial hotel is just 10 minutes away to Southwark and London Bridge tube stations. I loved how close it was to the TATE Modern (literally, a stone's throw away), St Paul's Cathedral and Tower Bridge.

The Executive rooms at Hilton Bankside are spacious cleverly deigned with generous bathrooms. They are beautifully finished in modern exposed timber cabinets with a comfortable office area .

It's wonderful to be able to have a quick dip in the indoor pool before breakfast. We loved the brilliant self-service buffet with an extensive range of fruits, cereal, cheese, dips and patisserie and the granola (made in-house by Hilton Bankside, a personal favourite). And not to forget, to plate up with  a traditional english breakfast consisting of sunny side up eggs toast ham and sausages, finishing it off with a nice cup of English Tea.

OXBO restaurant offers a tasty and affordable 3 course dinner, that we highly recommend. For starters we had the Cauliflower Soup and Duck Salad. For mains we chose the Scotch fillet, cooked medium rare with cherry tomatoes and a delicious bernaise sauce and the fried cod on mash. We finished off the night with two scrumptious desserts, white chocolate tart and icecream.
