Now, everyone may wonder what was in Miss May's mind every other day. Ice-cream, of course!
This is my guide to the TOP 5 yummiest (and mind I add, the prettiest) ice cream in town. You won't regret it. It's impossible to take a 'bad' photo.
If you're a tourist looking in Sydney town, looking for gorgeous ice creams (and not the Darling Harbour and Opera House), then truly, this is your guide to having a successful Insta-trip.
Hello Miss May's TOP 5
Most Instragrammable Ice Cream
1. Sea Salt Soft Serve, Aqua S
It was the talk of the town when it first came out. Today, Aqua S has become the soft serve to go-to when in Sydney CBD. Sea Salt flavour is the signature flavour of Aqua S, and there's a fun selection of toppings you can try like popcorns, marshmallow and fairy floss.
New flavours being introduced every two weeks, got us Instagrammers looking forward to #life. My friends think I'm delirious.
$4 a cone or a cup // Shop 27, Regent Place Arcade, 501 George Street, CBD, Sydney
2. Nutella Soft Serve in Doughnut Cone, Tella Balls Dessert Bar
This is too good to be true. Imagine Tella Balls doughnut as a cone, dipped in melted chocolate, served in the most delicious, mouth-watering Nutella soft serve. Ginormous portion, you can make a meal out of it.
It is a bit of a trek if you're doing the touristy thing in Sydney. But, Tella Balls is close to the Dulwich Train Station and if you're a fan of Greek food, it's a great reason to travel here (with quite a number of delish Greek restaurants to choose from)
$7 // Shop 5, 370 New Canterbury Road, Dulwich Hill, Sydney
3. Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream, N2 Extreme Gelato
It's always a treat to watch the N2 Extreme Gelato guys in lab coats whip up your gelato, made with Liquid Nitrogen. Not your average gelato, it is know for creative and fun flavours.
N2 is fresh, made to order with a wide range of delicious concoction to choose from.
My favourite was when the limited edition Scream Gelato came out, being inspired by Scream Queens. Cherry gelato filled with cherry chocolate fudge, topped with Persian flavoured fairy floss. What a treat!
$7-9 // Shop 43, 1 Dixon Street, Chinatown, Sydney
4. Rose Petal Ice Cream, I-Creamy Artisan Gelato
I vote I-Creamy, way-too-pretty-to-eat. So pretty, you would want to take at least 100 photos before finally, taking a lick or a bite of the beautiful flower ice-cream.
I'm loving the variety of flavours, from Bubblegum to Mango to Pandan, you can pick up up to 3 flavours to make your rose petal dream come true.
from $6.9 a cone // Shop 13, Skyview Plaza, 537-551 George Street, Sydney, CBD, Sydney
5. Endless Summer Gelato + Brookie, Gelatissimo
I remembered having my first Gelatissimo a good decade ago. And the sweet memories of apple and strawberry flavour gelato stuck with me for a very long time. They'll always be my first love!
Loving the Endless Summer gelato series with fresh new flavours - The Beach Babe (peach and blood orange) and Budge Smuggler (mango, coconut and white chocolate). They're so good, I went for seconds!
And Gelassimo's Brookie was a wow-ser. Smooth gelato sandwiched between two delicious chocolate cookies. It's to-die-for!
There are two Gelatissimo in Darling Harbour and The Rocks (and they are close by). For a chill and quiet atmosphere, I would pick The Rocks anytime. For the harbour view, I would definitely head our for Circular Quay :)
$5.20 a cone or a cup // Alfred Street, Circular Quay, Sydney 73 George Street, The Rocks, Sydney, NSW
