When I stepped into Harajuku Gyoza in Potts Point, it took me straight back to that time I was in Tokyo. With quirky Japanese decor, Harajuku Gyoza is kawaii and cosy at the same time (oh, and that beer glass was too cute to handle!).

I love their opening line of their website's menu. It goes like this, "You are like a hungry salaryman in a Japanese izakaya. You are thirsty and your appetite is big like Godzilla. So try grilled gyoza."

My #instagramhusband and I went a little bit crazy with gyoza. We ordered a variety of poached duck, grilled pork and grilled prawns. They were all just simply delightful and went very well with our Slushy Cider. OMG I was super excited as this was my first experience drinking Slushy Beer. Let me tell you this, I feel like a big kid again.

Chicken Ramen and Teriyaki Chicken Don were the main dishes, which we devoured pretty quickly. We couldn't resist the Izakaya sides of Pork Belly Kakuni and Agedashi Tofu. Kakuni iliterally means "square simmered" and every square tasted so tender and juicy.

The Jelly Watermelon is Harajuku Gyoza's latest creation and the pink jelly taste just like what you'd expect, a watermelon infused jelly. It was pure happiness. Dotted with chocolate drops, I wished I did not have to share my Jelly Watermelon with my #instagramhusband. I'm a sweet tooth and it's something I really want to have all to myself teehee:)

Harajuku Gyoza is a really fun and casual Japanese Bar to hang with friends. Lovely and friendly staff. Couldn't have asked for more. I'm definitely returning again for more Watermelon Jelly and Slushy Beer.
