Fritzenberger, boy, oh, boy. It's the new kid on the block in BrisVegas.
Just a few weeks old, you gotta check this place out. Fritzenberger burgers are sensational. Think of classic American food served with the most amazing Belgian hand cut frites on the side. Best of both worlds. And to top it all up, delicious home brewed beer made in Brisbane.
We met Andrew Jeffreys, the General Manager, who gave us a tour of the Fritzenberger. And I'm loving it!
I was blown away by the Frites, yummiest hand cut chips, served in a cone. Just like how you would have it when in Belgium. The fun part is I got to try all kinds of seasonings at the Fritzensalt Station.
You gotta try the Loaded Frites too, if you're into potatoes. Imagine over-the-top and to-die-for hand cut chips topped with melting cheese sauce and Fritzensauce, and sprinkled with candied bacon and Twisties salt. Everything about this side dish is amazing.
Also, don't get me going on the Fritzen Wings. The lightly spiced chicken wings served with blue cheese sauce and celery were finger licking good. Just divine!
Did you know Fritzenberger makes their own tomato ketchup and pickles? And they're organic too.
Anyways, Leon, my Instagram Husband @hungrysydneysiders, and I, basically ordered all the burgers on the Fritzenberger menu. We tried everything from 100% grass fed Fritzen beef Burger to panko-crumbed Fish Burger. I'm so in love with the squishy milk buns, so soft and yum. We also love the juicy Southern Fried style Chicken Burger and slow-cooked pulled Pork Burger.
Do : add crispy Maple Syrup Candied Bacon to your burgers. You won't regret it.
A great place to chill and hang with friends, drinking craft beer and talking about life in general. I simply can't wait to return to Brisbane, just so I can have a feast at Fritzenberger again. As I am typing this at 9.51pm, I'm working up a hunger just thinking about the good times I had with Fritzen Burger and fries. Mmmm....
